Une des plus jolies et touchantes musiques que j'ai entendu, merci ! :)

Such a lovely little bitsy game, I really enjoyed the atmosphere!

Hi Lenny! I'm helping organise an event on January 11th in Sydney called Serenade (https://serenade.games/). I was wondering if we could showcase this game? Feel free to DM me on Twitter @dinopokey.

Thanks!

it was the first time for me playing games running on an engine like this, so it was a little confusing. i'm pretty sure i only figured out i have to write reports after half a month :,) but the rest of the game is so very sweet and heartwarming, and the music was charming. <3

I literally played through the first time entirely without writing reports lolll, I went through a second time just because of this comment

A wonderful self-contained vignette, small but detailed enough to inspire awe. Atmospheric soundtracks are always appreciated! I'm surprised by what people make with these code hacks. Thank you!

You're welcome!

I loved the telescope interaction! This is so delicate and beautiful, thank you for sharing <3

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This game is a really creative use of bitsy. Also the art style and music fit together really well.

Thank you!!!

This was really sweet. I like little things like this <3

Thank you!

I love this little story. I think I identify with G more than the protagonist, only because my sweetheart is the one who takes work trips, not me. Sometimes it feels like I'm sending messages into a void, but having this perspective that my loved one is probably also reading my messages and treasuring them is helpful. The soundtrack might be my favorite part.

I would love an "update" or something where the protagonist gets to go home and leap into G's arms! Maybe navigating the trip home while receiving texts from G.

one last thing-

It might be a problem on my end, but when I went to watch the moon the night I received the rain email from my sweetheart, I was able to pan at first, but then things seem to have gotten stuck. I wasn't able to pan and I couldn't exit and had to refresh the page and start over.

Wow, thank you so much for your really thoughtful comment! I'm actually working on a post jam update at the moment, and giving some more closure to the story is on my list of things to address.

(Also thanks for letting me know about the bug - I'll make sure that's fixed too!)

such a beautiful experience. this is going to stay with me a while. so good.

I'm glad!

I love the UI elements in this! All the little photo attachments, the hearts next to the *important* messages, the telescope interface... just a lot of excellent details that really bring the story to life. :)

Thank you!!!

That's such a huge compliment, thank you!!!

such a sweet and calming atmosphere! i loved this.

Thank you!!!

what a sweet story <3 the pictures added so much to that story! now I miss my sweetheart T_T

Thank you! I really wanted to make it feel like you're getting emails from a real person, so I'm glad you liked it.

I loved the song i also like that your sweetheart is writing to it is such calming experience

That's exactly what I was trying to achieve, thank you!

What a sweet little story! With a very soft and sweet song too, a song of long nights gazing at the moon, anticipating even the tiniest correspondence from a sweetheart!

I liked the little pictures that were added to the screen as it went. Why not take a picture of a pizza, they don't last long anyways, omnomnomnom!

A very {wvy}lovely{wvy} game!

This is such a compliment, thank you!!!

also, I kinda knew it had nothing to do with what you were going for, but I kept searching around the moon for some sort of alien to pop out or some gaping hole to mysteriously appear in it. :S

Yeah, I made the plot up as I was going along and the job storyline isn't as cohesive as I would like it to be, but I was on a pretty tight timeline for the jam so I didn't have time to go back and edit it.
